NVQ Level 2 Customer Service
The Edexcel Level 2 NVQ is designed for staff responsible for delivering customer
service and who interact directly with the customer, for example sales or retail
staff, staff working on service desks and call centre staff. Being a mortgage
Professional is all about customer service. You must be able to over come their
objections, ensure they do not look else where for a mortgage, and ensure you
keep their business and get referrals!! This is why it is important all professionals
attend customer service training, as the type of customer service you provide
determines how much money you will make at the end of the day!
Course Contents
This Employer-Led qualification involves the following units to make up the
entire qualification:
Prepare yourself to deliver good customer service
Provide customer service within the rules
Promote additional services or products to customers
Deliver reliable customer service
Recognise and deal with customer queries, requests and problems
Resolve customer service problems
Develop customer relationships
Assessments
NVQ qualifications are not awarded by official exams at the end of the course.
Your knowledge is tested by different assessments taking place during your
training.
The evidence of the work you have done will be stored in a folder. Once the
folder is complete, it will be checked by Assessors and internally verified
by our centres’ Internal Verifier. Once the assessment has been internally
verified and the candidate has passed, we will then register that pass with
Edexcel, who will issue you with an official certificate.

The Training
The training will be delivered through a combination of professional training, one to one support and portfolio building. Candidates will carry out work based tasks to demonstrate the customer service skills in the work place.
